LA RUTA—TODAY
Upon reviewing and screening these documentaries, it became clear that they had universal appeal and could be exported to the rest of the world. La Ruta LLC, a USA corporation, acquired the worldwide rights to all of the current and future documentaries which represent over 80 hours of television programming and hundreds of hours of additional footage.
Our first objective is to bring this high quality entertainment to U.S. Hispanic Television audiences in a format that is fast-paced to maintain viewer interest. We are currently re-editing seven of the series that have broadest global appeal.
All the original series were shot and edited as one-hour Hispanic mini-series documentaries. In turn each series had eight episodes. The re-edited USA series will consist of thirteen one-half hour episodes for each documentary subject.
In addition, we will create both Hispanic and English versions of each series. This will allow us to expand the viewing potential to reach a broader spectrum of television viewers while offering marketers cost-effective communications for both Anglo and Hispanic audiences.
All seven USA versions will have a full marketing and promotional plan available for implementation with numerous extensions including educational opportunities available for discussion.
